Assistant Manager

Job Function:

The Assistant Residence Manager supervises the home when the Residence Manager is not on duty and provides a congenial atmosphere for the residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Prepares and serves three nutritious and attractive meals a day.

• Keeps up to date on current social and health/medical records for each resident.

• Provides day-to-day housekeeping.

• Greets and identifies visitors.

• Responds to emergencies.

• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Sensitivity to the needs of the aging

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Demonstrates good homemaking skills, a sense of humor, and patience

• Good physical and mental health

• Lift at least 25 lbs. and walk up and down stairs carrying groceries or laundry
